“A man’s steps are directed by the Lord. How then can anyone understand his own way?” Proverbs 20:24 NIV
Lately, I have been busy making future plans for the ministry as well as our family. Some of our goals are very audacious, yet achievable. The way to achieve larger, more complex goals comes down to taking the right steps. One of the reasons many people do not achieve what they want in life is because they never get started. The way to achieve larger goals is to break them down into doable steps on a daily or week-by-week basis. Have you ordered your steps lately or are you simply avoiding getting started? Large goals should not intimidate you…they should challenge you to become disciplined to put the right priorities and actions in place to make your goals not only achievable, but virtually inevitable. Got big goals? Think “steps.”
Excited that those plans include a trip to Central!
Thanks for the reminder about the steps. I agree with Mark Batterson that writing goals down helps a ton. You look back 5 years later and see all that you have accomplished. I have long lists of goals, I just need to remember that they come in steps.

This is something that I struggle with daily. I am a do it all now or don't do it at all kind of person. I need to take a step back, break the task at hand down, and start. I need to be content with starting as well as finishing, remebering that there is no finished goal without the beginning of it!
