Getting Ready For Christmas
I love this time of year! It’s Christmas season, and that mean it’s time for Christmas Eve! Christmas Eve is the “new Easter.” The attendance on Christmas Eve is bigger than Easter nowadays, so we are preparing for a big event. Our theme this year is “Christmas Eve Musical.” It is a spoof off of the “musical” rage, in the likes of Hairspray, High School Musical, etc… I am so very proud of everyone at Bay Area that is working round the clock to make this year’s Christmas the best so far. We have professional dancers, choreographers, lighting, video, sound engineers, actors and actresses, musicians, and more!
My favorite part about a big event is what it does for a church:
It brings unity to everyone working on a common goal.
It gets people out of their regular ministry routine.
It causes people to look beyond their own ministry.
It creates excitement.
It is a great vehicle to reach lots of unchurched people with the gospel.
It honors God!
Tickets will be available this weekend, as well as the CD of original music for the musical, so you can learn it and sing along this Christmas Eve. See you there!
My husband and I are members of baf, and we recently moved to Wharton, we truly miss the church in which we regained and found our faith in God! We want to thank you and all the baf staff for always creating such a wonderful christmas service and a place where all people feel welcome. God bless you and your family!
