Of all the leaders that inspire me, this guy is one of the best! His name is Buddy Cremeans. Buddy and his wife Debbie are great friends. They challenge Jessica and I to continually innovate, find joy in the process, and just to love God more. I met Buddy years ago at a conference and he invited me to consult with his staff. Upon “consulting,” I found myself being recruited to be on his board of directors, and I love it! Buddy and his whole team (who are amazing, by the way) are getting it done where virtually no one else is! This is not to say that there are not great ministries in the Northeast, but they are few and far between! Northway Church is an amazing testimony to God’s grace, and Buddy and Deb are definitely being used by God. My favorite quality of this couple is that they are not afraid to try…they will try a new campus, try a new idea, try anything if they sense God is in it. And the results speak volumes that the Hand of God is on them. Keep it up Cremeans! We love you guys.
That is such a nice blog to put up Pastor Bil about your friends. I think I speak for everyone at church when I say that we are grateful to have such a great group of pastors as yourself and staff. Corpus Christi is lucky to have a wonderful church with loving pastors who are willing to do anything for the prayers of its people. You have changed my life through your words and actions and I am forever grateful for that. I am greeter at the 1 pm service (usually at the first doors when you walk in) and I love it. It is a great feeling to smile to people and step inside their world for that split second or two when you ask "How are you today?" Sometimes I get people that open their lives to me and spend like 3-5 minutes telling me about their whole week or plans for the coming week. I feel blessed to be able to experience the closeness to those people and the trust they have with me to tell me stuff. As for a comment left to you by a Jake Baker on your previous blog.....I hope you are doing better and have found God again. I know how it feels to lose that strength of feeling you aren't being heard or paid attention to from God, but you are. He hears everything. Maybe it was just His way of challenging your true faith towards Him. Seeing if you would completely give up or not. I really hope you didnt, and in the end, got even closer to Him. It was God's grace that made you open the Bible to the Book of Ezra. Take care and God Bless You!!

At Northway, we have heard so many awesome things about you and your Church! I can't wait to meet you some day because I love to meet pastors that live out what they preach, and have the faith to dream and go big for God! Thanks for being a good friend to our pastor!

Thank you Bil for your counsel to Northway Church and specifically your friendship to our senior pastor. It's priceless and so are you.
